一 |                                                           [앵커]실종 104일 만에 야자수 농장에서 발견된 장미란 씨는 실종 다음 날 새벽 숨진 것으로 추정된다고 경찰이 밝혔습니다.범죄로 희생됐을 가능성은 작다는 게 경찰 의견이지만, 굳이 그곳에서, 왜, 어떻게 숨진 건지, 의문은 가시지 않고 있습니다.민소영 기자입니다. [리포트] 지난 5월 12일 밤 10시 15분쯤 숙소를 나선 장미란 씨, 경찰은 장 씨가 다음 날 새벽쯤 사망한 것으로 추정했습니다. 휴대전화 전원이 꺼질 때까지 위칫값 변화나 추가 통화 내용이 없었기 때문입니다. 또 목을 매 숨진 것으로 추정된다는 부검의의 구두 소견과 현장에서 장 씨 소유의 신발 끈이 발견된 점, 저항이나 다툼 흔적이 발견되지 않은 점 등으로 미뤄 범죄 피해 가능성은 낮아 보인다고 밝혔습니다. 다만 타살 등 모든 가능성을 열어두고 수사하고 있다고 설명했습니다. 하지만 30대 여성이 왜 인적이 드문 야자수농장까지 갔는지, 석 달 넘게 발견되지 않았는지 등 사망 경위를 둘러싸고 여러 의문이 제기되고 있습니다. [한림읍 주민/음성변조 : "안 다니기도 하고 거기가 좀 약간 으슥해요. 밤에는 바람 불 때는 저희도 다 지나갈 때는 막 좀 소름이 돋나."] 부 모 경장이 실종신고 접수 두 시간 반 만에 왜 임의로 종결했는지도 의문입니다. [정태운/제주경찰청 수사과장 : "범행 경위와 동기를 밝히기 위해서 프로파일러를 지원받아서 투입은 하고 있고, 포렌식 자료 등 여러 부분을 면밀히 분석해서."] 사건 허위 종결 혐의로 구속된 부 경장은 혐의를 부인하는 거로 전해졌습니다. 제주경찰청은 전담팀을 꾸려 부 경장이 처리한 실종 사건 298건을 전수 조사 중입니다. 한편, 부 경장은 장 씨 실종 사건을 허위 종결한 지 한 달여 만에 실종자 발견 공로로 경찰청장 표창을 받은 것으로 드러나 논란이 예상됩니다. China opposes illegal unilateral sanctions that have no basis in international law and are not authorized by the UN Security Council, a spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry said on Friday, calling on relevant parties to act responsibly and seek a solution through political and diplomatic means. 
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian made the remarks at the regular press briefing when asked to comment on US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent's remarks that the US would impose "the toughest sanctions in history" on Iran and urged China to cooperate with it.
At the same press briefing, in response to another question regarding US sanctions on Iran, Lin said China has consistently maintained that military means, sanctions and pressure are not conducive to resolving the issue. Instead, they will only heighten tensions and escalate the situation, which serves no party's interests. 
"We call for differences and disputes to be resolved through dialogue and consultation," Lin stressed.
